Being Yourself, Grace, And Fans Support Keeps Me moving – Sarkodie

Michael Owusu Addo, better known by his stage name Sarkodie, the multiple award-winning rappers, identified a few contributing aspects to his success in an exclusive interview.
“I’ve been fortunate to discover the right people at the right moment, having the joy of music, being yourself, and also having the grace of God,” he told JoyNews’ Becky.
Sarkodie started out as an underground rapper and took part in the well-known rap battle series “Kasahare Level” on Adom FM.
In the aforementioned competition, he ran into Duncan Williams, his old manager. He also met artists Castro and Edem, who later introduced him to renowned record producer Hammer of The Last Two.
Today, Sarkodie is a household name in the Ghanaian entertainment industry, with more than five albums to his credit.
