Bright Okpocha, better known by his stage name Basketmouth, has withdrawn the social media post he had published to announce his separation from Elsie.
This occurs soon after a previous clip of the artist criticizing divorce reappeared on social media. Remember how the father of four sent tongues wagging when he announced his divorce from his wife?
Days after he made his declaration, though, an old video of him and his wife Elsie opposing divorce in a Channel Africa interview surfaced online.
As the comedian boastfully repeated that there is no decent marriage that ends in divorce, which is why he and Elsie can’t split, Basket pledged during the interview that he would never get divorced.
Further stating their love for one another, the couple said divorce was not an option.
Basketmouth, however, removed the post he had made announcing his divorce from his wife a few hours after the old video was removed.
