I Will Break Your Record in 2023 – Sonnie Badu Tells Shatta Wale

After the recently flopped Wizkid show, which was held at the Accra Sports Stadium a few weeks ago, UK-based Ghanaian gospel singer, Sonnie Badu, came out to brag about being the only artist to be able to sell out the venue somewhere in 2013.

The “Baba” singer has returned to social media to praise Ghanaian dancehall legend Charles Nii Armah Menah, better known as Shatta Wale, for filling the stadium with 40,000 fans. 

The concert by Shatta Wale and Medikal on December 25th was by far the most attended event at the Accra Sports Stadium; not even a local football match could draw such a crowd. 

Sonnie Badu, taking to his Facebook page, congratulated Shatta Wale and also let him know that he will be in the country to break the record, God willing, next year.
