I’m scared to fall in love because of who I am – Gyakie reveals
The young songstress who made a name for herself a few years into the music industry says falling in love with a famous person is scary.
Speaking in an interview with KSM, Gyakie disclosed that it has become difficult for her to fall in love because she doesn’t know if the person will be genuine or in for her fame.
Gyakie was however quick to add that she is ready to mingle irrespective of her fear.
“Though scared and trying to make sure it’s for the best, I’m still ready and willing to give love a chance. So come on, come on, shoot your shot!”
In a recent interview, the songstress revealed that, although she primarily produces love songs, her lyrics do not reflect her life experience.So, I haven’t fallen in love because it’s too hard to tell who loves you for who you are or to tell who loves you because I’m geeky and they want to brag about it, so that is another danger,” Gyaki explained.
“I sing love songs to the audience, but that doesn’t mean I’m in love or sing it with the feeling of love. All I do is sing. Maybe when I fall in love in the future, So I started to feel what my fans feel when I sing or listen to my songs. Music is for the fans.
“When it comes to relationships, I don’t pay much attention to it. I am in my corner, I will gladly accept whatever comes my way. Right now I am focusing on my studies so that later in the future when It’s okay if God sends someone to me, ”she explained.
