In response to demands to get married, MzBel, the veteran singer from Ghana, said she had no plans to do so anytime soon.
MzBel said that she does not need to rush into marriage since she is content and happy as a single lady in an interview with Wontumi TV.
A lot of people have expressed their support and appreciation for MzBel’s independence and self-assurance online in response to her words, which have caused intense debate.
A few people have even complimented MzBel for serving as an inspiration for other women who might experience pressure to get married. MzBel, however, encountered opposition from others who thought her refusal to get married was selfish or unwise.
MzBel defended her selection and insisted that it was her right to decide what to do with her own relationships and personal life. Although MzBel may have changed her mind about marriage, she is currently more concerned with her work and happiness.
