YOLO series arrive home next year – Adjetey Anang
Ghanaian actor Adjetey Anang has revealed that season six of the serial drama ‘You Only Live Once’ (YOLO) is set to hit the screens of Ghanaians on January 23, 2023.
Yolo is a Ghanaian teenage TV series that is a sequel to the Ghanaian TV series ‘Things We Do for Love’. The series was designed to advise and direct the youth concerning the challenges they face in their adolescence.
The most forsee sixth season of the series comprises 13 episodes that promote key messages around good health, family planning, nutrition, reproductive health, child health, and COVID-19.
Adjetey Anang has unvail that the cast for season six of YOLO includes Jackie Appiah, Adjetey Annan, Aaron Adatsi, John B. Peasah, Desmond Danso Sakyi, and some new actors and actresses recruited through auditions.
In a speech read on behalf of the Director General of the Ghana Health Service, Mr. Patrick Kuma-Aboagye, he expressed his excitement about the new season of YOLO which aims to educate and entertain millions of Ghanaians.
In Ghana Health Service, the YOLO program is extra ordinary as it allows for open health discussions and information sharing opportunities to showcase how positive health messaging like disease prevention, maternal and child health, vaccinations, and other topics the youth can identify with.
This programme gives all who work in public health the opportunity to promote healthy behaviors and approaches in a manner and shape that is both entertaining and important to this influential demographic,” he said.
