A 10-year-old boy has revealed the plans by his neighbors to poison his aunt to death in Ile-Olode, Ogbomosho, Oyo State.
According to reports, the 10-year boy spoke the truth to the evil plans of the neighbors on Monday, December 5 at their residence. He disclose and exposed his neighbors identified as Aluko, Bororo, and Iyalaya, who had promised to reward him with N500 if he carried out the evil task.
A close source said, “They had overheard the boy’s mother refuse to give him money when he asked her for money to get some Christmas presents. They enticed him with N500 and gave him a poisonous substance to deposit in the food or drinking water of his aunt -who’s the main target.”
Some neighbors informs the police how they found the young boy shivering about on Monday morning and questioned him on why he did not go to school. Upon interrogation, they found the poison on the little boy who disclose to them that the three neighbors who lived on the same compound asked him to poison his aunty for monetary reward.
After hearing his confession, the neighbors launched a manhunt for the fleeing suspects while they counseled the boy to refuse such offers from bad elements in the society,” an eyewitness reports.
